The work in this archive is influenced by my interest in the urban landscape, generous design, and place making.

I'm curious about the way that boundaries between public and private spaces are made apparent or concealed; the use of historic or cultural symbols in public design; decoration; the way development alters a formerly familiar place; hostile and generous architecture; street furniture; the presence of rules and disruptive visual instructions.

As the archive demonstrates, my creative focus has shifted toward making functional and sculptural ceramics. It's been interesting to see how my artistic interests are translated through this material and into objects of use.
