Wheel-thrown and altered stoneware vase, thrown in sections and assembled thereafter. The piece has a satin-like green/bronze glaze to the exterior and a glossy deep blue glaze on the inside. Holds water.

The surface decoration explores my continued interest in hostile architecture as it is encountered in public spaces, specifically surface spikes and their intriguing ability to appear as attractive, innocuous design details at first glance, in spite of their hostile function.
